Declaration of Consent for Image, Audio/Video Recordings and Web Streaming

The Nobel Sustainability Trust Summit 2023 will be audio and video recorded and live broadcasted through web streaming. When attending this meeting, you agree on the collection and processing of your personal data and on the publication of the audio and video recordings and web streaming.

During the Nobel Sustainability Trust Summit 2023, pictures will be taken. These will be used by the event hosts, NST, and TUM-IAS for public relations and reporting purposes, e.g. online on the websites www.nobelsustainability.org ; www.tum.de and www.ias.tum.de or printed media (e.g. the TUM-IAS Annual Report).

In the present case, consent is required for the production and publication of photos of individually recognizable persons or of video or audio recordings. The processing is based on Art. 6 (1) of the GDPR. It is carried out for the purpose of press and public relations work.

The granting of rights to the photos and/or videos and sound recordings is made without remuneration and also includes the right to archive and edit, provided that the editing is not distorting.

Through the use on the Internet, photos and/or videos can be accessed and stored worldwide. Corresponding data can thus also be found via so-called “search engines”. It cannot be ruled out that other persons or companies may alter these images and/or videos, use them for other purposes, or link them to other data available on the Internet and create a personality profile. In addition, the data can often still be retrieved via the archive function of search engines even if they have already been removed or changed from the above-mentioned websites.

I understand that I have the right, as a data subject, to access data relating to me, to be informed about the existence and the extent of the data processing, to rectify incorrect personal data, as the case may be, and to oppose further on serious and legitimate grounds.

You may revoke your consent at any time by sending an email to info@nst-sustainabilityaward.events  with effect for the future. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.

As far as the consent is not revoked, it is valid for an unlimited period of time.
